In a data centre water is not an option for suppression, and downtime is itself a loss. Protection starts with detecting fire before it develops.
Server and equipment rooms are usually protected with clean agent systems that leave no residue on equipment, early smoke detection, and room sealing that holds the agent concentration. Corporate offices need escape design for open-plan floors and alignment with the parent company's standards.
We have worked on stc data centres, more than 20 Mobily sites, the Schlumberger, Honeywell and Yokogawa headquarters in Dhahran Techno Valley, and Alinma Bank and NBK branches. For multi-site programmes we set one standard and apply it site by site.
