The approved drawing is what actually gets built and what gets reviewed at final inspection. We design so approval passes first time and the result is buildable at the estimated cost, without over-design.
Detection and alarm design follows NFPA 72: smoke and heat detector spacing based on ceiling height and airflow patterns, battery load calculations for standby operation, and control panel and notification appliance placement that delivers adequate audibility at every point.
For automatic sprinkler systems we work to NFPA 13: hazard classification, hydraulic calculations proving pressure and flow at the most remote sprinkler, and pump room and water tank design sized for the required duration. The hydraulic calculation is what separates an approved system from a rejected one.
The work also covers smoke control for egress routes and protected stairwells, evacuation plans and signage, and special suppression such as clean agent systems for equipment rooms and foam systems for industrial facilities.
We handle submission and follow the review comments through to approval. Where the reviewing authority raises observations we resolve and resubmit, rather than leaving that as a burden on the project team.
