Fire safety for warehouses and factories
In a warehouse, how goods are stored decides the protection system: rack height, the commodity and its packaging.
Warehouse sprinkler design depends on commodity classification, storage height and arrangement, under NFPA 13. Changing the goods or raising the racks can make a compliant system inadequate, so we review the design against the actual operating plan, not the drawing alone. Factories add fire loads from raw materials and processes, separation distances, and sometimes foam systems for flammable liquids.
We have worked on noon's logistics warehouses, BAFCO's warehouses at King Abdulaziz Port, the Zamil Steel factory, the Basic Chemical Industries plant and Amiantit's sites in Dammam 1st Industrial City. Inside industrial cities we run the MODON approval route as a MODON-qualified office.
